Thanks for taking a moment to discover more about Westfield Evangelical Free Church! 

If you are reading this we acknowledge you are probably on a journey of finding a church home.  Our hope is for God to direct you and for information on this site to help you discern if WEFC is to be your spiritual family.  

 

WEFC has been in existence since 1981 when Pastor David Young was called to be the church's first pastor.  In the summer of 2021 the succession from Pastor Young to myself as Lead Pastor took place.  It marked the close of one chapter and the start of a new chapter!  For 40 years God has used WEFC to touch lives both locally in western Mass, regionally in the New England area, nationally in the States, and internationally all over the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ!  As God has been so faithful to carry out His purposes within WEFC and through WEFC, we long to see what God will do in the next 40 years! 

 

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!  Amen.       Ephesians 3:20-21

 

We see our mission as helping everyone become complete in Christ no matter where they are on their spiritual journey!

A good next step for you is to come to one of our Take 5's that occur every 2 months after our 10:30am service near the cafe area.  It is for people relatively new to WEFC who want to know a little more.  It is a chance to interact personally with the pastors and together discern next steps for you.
