Bloom Women's Conference
We are writing to let you know that we have come to the decision to postpone our Bloom Conference once again until May 22, 2021.
As we have been keeping a pulse on progress, concerns for possible Covid 19 virus surges and the recent mandate by our governor to reduce the size of gatherings have helped us to understand that our October 24, 2020 date is no longer feasible.
Although we are disappointed with the long wait, the health and safety of our attendees and all involved are of utmost importance to us.
On the bright side, Laura Story was able to offer us a new date in the Spring of 2021! We are looking forward to May 22, 2021. Your current registration still stands and will secure you a seat at the BLOOM 2021 conference with no increase in price. We do understand that some may prefer or need a refund. If this is true for you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to assist you. For those who do not have e-mail, our registrar, Andrea, may be reached at (413) 575-3886. If you would like a refund, please send your request by December 31, 2020, as following that deadline we will return to our usual transfer policy.
Thank-you for your grace in walking through this time with us. You are all on our hearts and in our prayers. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have needs or concerns.
May God richly bless you with peace in believing His great love for you!
for the Bloom Team
“The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”
Below are a some resources offering on-line bible studies and messages that may encourage you.
Laura Story is a Bible teacher, worship leader, bestselling author and Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter. She has built her life- and a career- around submission to her calling.
The life of songwriter is a sacred calling and one Laura doesn't take lightly whether she's writing songs for her church, for a new record or simply for herself as a cathartic release. "It's not about my songs or my story or even my artistry," she says. "It really is about Him getting the glory for the work that I believe He has chosen to do through songwriters and through songs. It's a unique work that He's chosen to do there."
She may lead others in worship through song on stages both big and small, but on a daily basis, Story is intent on loosening her grip and choosing to live with open hands as an ultimate act of praise.
Her hit son "Blessings" was certified gold in 2011 and inspired her first book, What If Your Blessings Come Through Raindrops. Laura's music and writing show God's love and grace intersecting with real life and serve as a reminder that despite questions or circumstances, God is the ultimate author of our story, as told in her second book, When God Doesn't Fix it.
Laura has a master's degree in theological studies and a doctorate degree in worship studies. She has served as a worship leader at Perimeter Church in Atlanta since 2005, but her greatest joy is being a wife to Martin and mother to Josie, Ben, Griffin and Timothy.
