Worship Arts Ministries
Welcome! I’m glad you decided to check out our worship arts ministries page. God has given us a wonderful group of talented and Christ filled artists here at WEFC.
I want to encourage you, if you have a gift in art or technology, to view that gift as a stewardship from the Lord. The lesson that Jesus taught in the parable of the talents is that all of our gifts are from God and one day he will call us to account in regards to how we used them. What’s more is that we will either be rewarded for wisely investing the gifts God has placed in our lives or be rebuked for having squandered what we’ve received.
As the church grows let’s guard ourselves from the lie that says, “My gifts aren’t needed in such a big place.” The truth that Paul shared regarding the church as a body applies here. If you are a follower of Christ then you are part of the body so the correct biblical question is then, “Where do I fit?” I am praying that you will find that place because not only will you find more fulfillment in your relationship with Christ but the body will be strengthened.
The following ministry teams provide places for you or your family to get involved. Please click here to read through the Worship Arts Ministry handbook and fill out the questionnaire at the back and return
it to the church office. Thanks!
Music Teams
We currently have two rotating music teams that lead worship in song on Sunday mornings. Our rehearsal times are normally on Thursday nights from 6:00p-7:00p (if you are a vocalist) or from 7:00p-9:30p (if you play an instrument). From 7:00p-7:30p, vocalists, instrumentalists and technicians meet for a time of group devotions. These teams are also involved in special musical events such as Good Friday, Easter or Christmas presentations.
